Cocoa Florida Senior Companion Sis. Damato from California Hello family and friends, Wow what a week it's been I won't write much because I'm going to see you in two days!! But it has been an awesome week! Right now there is a giant lightning and thunder storm outside it sounds like a hurricane. But I don't think it is a hurricane but it sounds like one. So this week we had a bunch of cool things we were able to do like go and see a rocket launch from the Air Force Base on top of a building it was awesome! I got a sweet video I'll have to show you all when I get home. I was able to go to the temple on Friday with other the other departing missionaries and President and Sister Berry it was amazing. I'm so grateful for the temple there's no other place like it. Kelly was able to get out of the hospital this week and we were able to see her a lot so that was great. We talk to her a lot about her thoughts on baptism and what we can do to help her to get there. She got a Samsung tablet and was downloading the entire Gospel Library. That girl! She is awesome! She still working with getting your medication regulated but we are continually praying for her and fasting for her and helping her in anyway that we can. She was able to come to sacrament meeting yesterday and it was really good. We also able to meet with our new investigator Dawn. We had a great lesson with her all about the restoration of the gospel and I got to invite her to be baptized on November 1st and she accepted Woo hoo last baptismal invite success! She also came to church! We think she enjoyed it she told the bishop she would be here next week. Yesterday was just spent saying bye to members and everyone and getting everything packed. Transfers are Tuesday and they told me I'm getting transferred to Utah. I didn't think they did that but I guess I'll take it. Haha! Yesterday during sacrament I started to tear up just thinking about my Savior and my father in heaven and how grateful I am to them for all that they have done for me. I am so grateful for my mission and for my opportunity to serve God's children and to really feel a love for them that only you can feel as a missionary. I'm so excited to see all of you this week. Take care and see you Wednesday! Love, Sister Forsey Sent from my iPad To see more PICTURES from this week CLICK HERE! |
