A Week Full of Miracles!
Hello Everyone!!!
Wow what a week filled with miracles!!!
On Tuesday this past week we went on exchanges with the Sister Trainer Leader's. it was a lot of fun! I went up to Bellview with Sister Parker and wow. We just had a blast! They have this place in their area called "The Villages" hahha it is HUGE!! Its a 55+ Community and they have shops, restaurants, doctors offices, just everything. And everyone, EVERYONE just goes around in a Golf Cart. It is hilarious!! There is just Golfing going on everywhere. Seriously it is a retirement dream place. I told sis. Parker. I cannot tell my Grandpa's that this place exists because they would move here in a heartbeat!
We had a fun time visiting less actives and getting to know them and some of their family members who aren't members. It was fun.
Alright some miracles for the week -- We had a lesson with this guy named Soeresh. We were talking/testifying to him and the spirit was so strong. He stopped us and said," Something feels different with you two. I have had many people come and talk with me about Christ and church but I don't know.. it feels different with you two. Like you really believe what you are saying." We just said that that was the Spirit and it is here to testify of truth. It was so cool!! Miracle!!!
We had a lesson with one of our investigators, Amaya and her dad who we can never catch! We taught the Plan of Salvation and it just really clicked for them. They understood it and said that they would be baptized!! Just the issue of when. But no worries! it will happen!
Not really a miracle but a funny. We were having dinner at a member's house this past week and the Dad's parents were in town from Idaho. The Sister who made dinner made some Quinua (qeen- wahh) It is like this interesting stuff. Well the grandpa being from Idaho and definitely a meat and potatoes kind of guy, tasted it and said, "What the heck is this??" "Don't we have some potatoes or rice or something other than this?" It was so funny! I was almost falling over laughing. Everyone else was too. He just tells it how it is. He reminded me of Grandpa Traylor.
Another Miracle! We got to have a conference with Elder Russell M. Nelson! He and Elder Munns, a seventy, came and spoke to us. I am looking through my 5 pages of notes and I think I will just add a few things....
From Elder Munns one thing that really stuck out to me was he quoted Elder Bednar, but talked about Seeing and hearing with Spiritual Eyes and Ears. It reminded me of the quote, First Observe, then Serve, from Sis. Burton. I loved it. Something I definitely need to apply.
Elder Nelson talked about how baptism is only a tiny step. We need to get people to the temple so they can experience Eternal Life! He also talked about the explosion of Missionaries and he said "This Explosion is only the beginning." Wow.
Another thing he talked about was the Restoration and how we know all we know about the Atonement because of the Book of Mormon and Doctrine and Covenants. I never really thought about that. It was cool. It was definitely a neat experience meeting with an apostle of the Lord and hearing his testimony.
Well Family and friends! I am so grateful for each and every one of you! Thank you so much to all of you who wished me a Happy Birthday and/or sent me something! I am so very blessed! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love you all!!
Love, Sister Forsey
**having lost all of my pictures last week, I am a little unsure of adding more pictures until I figure out the problem. Don't want to have that happen again! So mom will make due.
PS- MOM!! I got your birthday package!! I have decorated our apartment and there are balloons everywhere!! hahaha I am soooo excited!!! You are the best!!! Thank you thank you!! Seriously! How did i get so very blessed?

I am so excited that you guys got to go to Arizona!! How fun!! How did Halli like the Gilbert Temple open house?? Did she just love it!!??
I am so sorry about Cam, (pilonidal cyst) ohhh I feel so bad for him. Poor Kid. I would not wish that upon my worst enemy!
Well I hope you guys have a fun trip!! Feels like just yesterday we were there and celebrating and waiting for little Averi to come!
My Birthday: I am excited for this surprise (9pm on my birthday?) although I am kind of nervous haha Who Knows what you guys come up with!! haha well I got a package from Aunty Loli and Uncle Tommy and a Card from Grandma and Grandpa Forsey. Yesterday we were at a members house for dinner and they were celebrating their son's birthday and Sis. Williams was like "Well her Birthday is Tuesday!!" And they said so is his! How old will you be? I said, 22. (Which is crazyy!!! can you believe it??) And then they said him too!! haha So we were born on the same day, same year. Then they were so sweet, The mom went and got me one of their Birthday Plates and then gave me some lotion and some eye shadow. How sweet was that?? The Lord really does hear and answer prayers!!!
I love you!!! Thank you so much for making my Birthday so awesome when we are so far apart. Love you!!
FROM MOM: I got the picture above from Jenni's new FACEBOOK page. Apparently she can't 'friend' anyone yet from back home, only people who are in her mission. But you can still go on her FACEBOOK page and read it. She post inspirational thoughts every day or so, and also pictures! I love it. Her FACEBOOK page is Sister- Jennifer Forsey
Jenni mentions a surprise (9pm on her birthday)...well...we thought it would be a fun idea to have a Pizza Party and the fixin's delivered to her apartment on her birthday, which is Tuesday, Jan 28th. She has no idea what it is. The Browers were thinking of doing the same thing- so we are going to do it together. Jenni will love it!
