TRANSFER WEEK!
Hey all!
Alright, well I'll just go ahead and jump on in! Monday after Emails we went and got together with some other elders and sisters to play soccer and basketball. Well I was waaaayyyy behind on some letter writing and I needed to catch up so I wrote some letters. After that we had dinner at a members house and they had new puppies! Just two weeks old, we got to hold them and play with them, it was awesome doing some 'normal' stuff! After dinner we had a lesson with a less active, Debbie Vaugn and her husband who is not a member... Lucky Vaugn. Lucky never sits in on lessons but we walked in and started talking to him about his homemade knifes and guns (he's a hunter) and things he likes, and guess what, he sat in the lesson! It was awesome! I know the Lord will help soften his heart. They are a great couple!
Tuesday there were not a lot of people home so we tracted and met some nice people and some not so nice people (ha ha), but the highlight of the day was the terenchal downpour! Sister peck and I were down the road from the car when it started this huge rain, and within a few minutes it looked like we had jumped into a pool. It was kind of cool though because I have never been in rain that heavy before ha ha! A nice lady took pity on us and let us in her house for a few minutes.
Wedneday another one our investigators dropped us :( Her name is Elizabeth she just couldn't grasp the whole priesthood and baptism thing. And she didn't understand why she would need to be baptized again if she had already been baptized in the Baptist church. Later Wednesday night, we were invited to Mutual for a missionary panel. They had all the youth sit in front of us along with all the other returned missoinaries in the ward and the youth got to ask us questions. It was cool and really made me think about why I was out doing this! I got to bear testimony of why I was serving a mission. It really was an awesome experience. I talked about how I had an 'experience' with prayer, and just knew that I was suppose to serve a mission. I also talked about obedience to those little whisperings that the Spirit gives us.
Thursday we had a Zone Meeting and those are always amazing! It is the coolest thing to experience the spirit when a bunch of missionaries are in one spot. Very cool! Thursday, we also invited Martha to fully live the Word of Wisdom. She is doing good so far! Please pray for her, it can be difficult.
Friday we taught some investigators and had a softball game with the ward and Carrie, Kaleigh, and Morgan came (all investiGATORS)! It was fun to see them interact with the ward and be involved. I went up to bat once and It took me like 20 times before I could hit the dang ball! I guess my softball star days are over. haha!
Friday night my president called to tell me that my granny had passed away and that I could call you guys. I was so sad to hear about Granny passing away! but as a missionary its a little easier because you get to teach the plan of salvation almost everyday. It keeps you really focused and close to the other side. I know she is so much better being free from her physical pains and we will see her again! I will miss her though. I just pray that Grandpa is ok. I know that you guys will keep an eye on him. It is going to be really sad for him to be all alone. He took care of Granny for so long. He is such a great example to me. Both of them were. I'm trying to stay happy that she is not in pain any more.
Saturday we went tracting and taught Carrie the Word of Wisdom. It went really well, She is going to set a goal for when she will be done with smoking. That night I had Brother Parry give me a Priesthood Blessing. It was definitely needed and it definitely helped! The Savior helped me bear the burdens and made them light.
Sunday all the lessons in church were on eternal families and trials and tribulations. I really needed to hear what was said in each lesson. Going to church is so important! There are so many things that can be revealed to us there! I am so grateful to know that my Heavenly Father knows me and knows what I need and for members who can listen to the Spirit and have the Spirit work through them! Families can be together FOREVER!
Last night President Hall called me and let me know what I was being transferred! I will be sad to leave the people in the Ellsworth area, but I am happy for a "fresh start"... that was what President Hall said. haha I will let you all know how it goes in my new area and with my new companion!
I Love and miss you all!

Dad- Thank you so much for the email! I am so grateful for you and the example you have been to me in my life! I love you! I havn't been able to read all of the email yet so I printed it off. I love you!
Mom- Thank you, thank you, thank you! for the email! and for the very first letter you wrote to me on my mission. I read it again last night and it gave me just the boost that I needed. I have to finish reading your email after computer time. I don't know if I we will get to skype. I would say probably not. It is only if a member offers it, and since i'm moving to another area I really don't know. I would say that I will most likely be calling. I think you should go with Grandpa to Missoula for Alex's homecoming. Grandpa needs the support and love right now. Dad is pretty handy with the conference calls, so we should be good! I am so glad I got to talk to you guys the Friday night! It helped so much!!!! Like you have no idea! Fair warning your mom's day gift and Bday gift will most likely be late, but keep your eyes peeled for them in the mail! :D I love you! oh! and in answer to your questions about the clothes/shoes. I love my skechers they are amazing! I love the longer skirts just because it's nice not to worry about the length and they get a nice breeze! haha Shirt wise, all my shirts are awesome! I think the humidity is gonna do what its gonna do, I can't escape it. But I found out in my new area we are on a car share, so I will be on my bike. I will let you know how that goes ha ha! Also, Could you send me Allison Craigie's postal address? I dont have it and need to send them a letter. I love you to the moon and back and I will talk to you on Sunday!!! So excited!!!!! :D
