Hey Ya'll!
First off Grandma and Grandpa Forsey thank you so much for the Halloween card and money to get a treat. I Love you guys so much and Grandma I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Bill passing away. I know I will miss that man and know that you do too. We are so very fortunate to have the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation and eternal Families. I love you guys! Please Let Aunt Marla know that I love her and am praying for her!
So this week we had lots of lessons with Less Actives and helping them come back to church. Thursday we went with the Sister Trainer Leaders in our zone to a Chinese Buffet for Dinner and then went on exchanges. Sister Dunford came to Lake Mary with me and for Halloween night we had to be inside by 6 PM. So we painted our nails, ate candy, and watched Legacy. It was a good night.
Friday we went Knocking a lot and checked in on some Potential Investigators. We went to one address that a potential gave us but she gave us the wrong address for her. So we decided to knock the street and to see if we could get some people from that. We didn't have a lot of luck until one of the Last houses we knocked on. A man answered the door and His name was John. We shared a scripture with him and he said we could come back again next week. When we were leaving he asked if it would be okay for his Dad to also sit in and of course we said yes! So we have a lesson with him tomorrow. Please keep him in your prayers! We met some other nice people through out the day, not many interested in the Gospel though. We also taught a Less Active family who has some interest in coming back to church.
Then that night we went to a members home who invited 6 of their non-member neighbors over for a Halloween dinner. It was a lot of fun. (mom that's where the first pictures came from) They asked us to bring a game to play and so we brought Charades. Well I have been a missionary far too long and we had a hard time thinking of things to put in the Charades pile. One of the songs that came to my mind was Gabby the Gobbler. So that's why they were asking about it. They didn't believe me that it was a real song. haha
Saturday we had our Ward Halloween Party! A few days ago I was falling asleep and then Wam! that Spirit hits me on the head and tells me that I need to invite our neighbors to the Halloween Party. So of course I wake up Sister Winslow and tell her about my Epiphany. So the next day we invite them and they were so excited! And they came Saturday night! Woo hoo! They also brought another non-member family who live in our complex with them! It was cool! It was a great turn out! We had a ton of Less Actives, and Non-members there.
So it was quite a week! I hope you had had a fantabulous week and Keep the Faith! Love you all!
Love, Sister Forsey
