Hey everyone!
I LOVE all the emails from everyone! I am so blessed and feel so loved! I had to print out most of them because of time. So I will have to hand write you back! Thank you though for all the love and support!
Mom- Thank you so much for the package!!! Getting anything in the mail is like Christmas morning!! :D Especially when it comes from youuuu!! I LOVED the jammies! they are so comfy and cute!! and the little note card made me laugh because my journal right now is that exact same design hahahaha! The antelope island pictures were hilarious!! I just laughed and laughed!! looks like you had some fun!! :D I did notice the sweatshirts how could I not?? haha I love you guys!! As to the blog I think the church doesn't want it to seem like I am the one writing it as well as the names and info on the investigators I am teaching so if you wanted to create a blog and just make sure it says that you are the one writing it and maybe change the names of the investigators or take out personal stuff I think that would be fine.
Alright as to this week, Monday night I started to get a sore throat and was not excited to wake up the next morning just knowing it was going to be worst! I have no Zinc lozenges :( Dad would you mind sending me some?? I think I like the orange ones or whichever ones will be fine. Tuesday I woke up really sick with a bad sore throat, and fever. Of course Tuesday was our busiest day yet!! I think we had like 8 or 9 appts. set up. Well I just pulled through and filled my water bottle with ice water. The work must go on! Funny, when I was teaching, I hardly felt sick.
Wednesday my sore throat morphed into a cold which was more bearable. We went out knocking and it was my first time taking the lead. I was pretty confident that I could do it. Well, the people we first knocked at -a male answered the door. He took one look at us and immediately invited us in because it was so hot outside. Oh my gosh...super sweet. His wife and two kids were home so we talked to her first and I was good for the first 2 seconds and then I just started spouting off. It was terrible. I even looked at the woman and said Sorry. Luckily I had Sister Peck there to save me!! ha ha (oh that is why you have a companion... ha ha jk) I guess I will need more practice!
Thursday Sis. Peck was getting really sick & coughing a lot, so we went to the doctor. While in the waiting room they had on an oldies station and I wouldn't of minded staying there all day listening to all the good music! I loved it! haha Well Sis. Peck had come down with Bronchitis. So we got her the antibiotics and rested so we could both get better, cause Friday we had a meeting in Orlando at a chapel by the temple! Oh my gosh, it was so fun seeing everyone there that I came out to Florida with. We even drove past the entrance to Disney World!! ahhh!! haha I was ready to just tuck and roll out of the car. haha
Saturday was Tina's Baptism! It was so awesome!! She was just glowing!! She cried the entire time. She is awesome! It was a beautiful service!! My first! and one that I will never forget! Sunday we had church with our awesome ward, then did some studying and planning and visiting with members and investiGATORS (ha ha).
This morning we got up at 5 AM for our District Prep Day. We went to the Beach!!! It was awesome! we watched the sunrise, played ultimate Frisbee, saw some dolphins, and then played sand Volleyball. It was really fun! Sis. Peck and I are feeling better, thank goodness.
The work is going great! We are just really focusing on what we can do to help our progressing investigators progress more. Thank you all for your prayers in their behalf as well as my own. I feel their power!! I love you all!! Thank you again for all the support! 1 Month down! Can you believe it??? I sure can! haha just kidding!
I will talk to you all again next week!! The Church is true!!
Mom- Thank you so much for all you do! I can't even tell you how much you mean to me! Love you! Love, Sister Forsey
