You guys all have pretty sweet dance moves! Loved the Easter Jib jab so funny!
Wowza what a week! I got a new companion! Her name is Sister Ackley she is from Highland Utah and we are the same person. She has 5 brothers, 1 sister and her favorite food is pizza, nuff said. She is so full of energy and we just laugh non stop. It's pretty great! She is teaching me so much and we have just thanked Heavenly Father for putting us together. We have been talking a lot of how we just fit so well together. Her Strengths are my weaknesses and vice versa so we are having a blast.
This past week on Monday it was Sister Williams last night here so we went to the Byron family's home and help them paint. Then we had a pizza party! We got to make pizza and I must say I am a pretty talented Pizza Maker! It was a lot of fun!
Then on Tuesday it was transfers and believe me I was beyond nervous haha I always am when it comes to transfers. I think the Lord trusts me too much. Well When I found out it was sister Ackley I breathed a sigh of relief. We came home and had an appointment with a member and it was great then we went to dinner with another Angela. Another member. She is so awesome! She would feed us every week if she could. We had a great time chatting with her.
Wednesday we had a cool miracle happen. We were really impressed to follow Elder Ballard's council from General Conference to follow up. So that is what we did. WE stopped by and saw a former. His name is R and he said that he wanted to finish the Book of Mormon before meeting with us again. Which is awesome because he wants to read it, but not awesome because he wouldn't set up a time to meet with us. So we stopped by and he said he was busy at the moment but to come back on Tuesday! So cool!!!
Driving home a Sister from Lake Mary Called, Sister Phillips. She is so funny! She got a hold of a member on the Stake High Council and tracted our phone number down! So funny! She called to tell me that her neighbor D, who I became pretty close with has been reading the Book of Mormon and is already in the Book of Alma! How cool is that? I was so amazed! And she also wanted to know if they could come up and take us out to lunch. Sis. Phillips is so sweet. I am so blessed to have so many people who love me.
On Friday we had a Sister's Meeting! it was so cool! We had workshops and a Missionary mall!! We were each given a shopping bag and were told to go crazy! We just grabbed what ever we wanted. They had sisters from Relief Society all over the mission donate Clothes. Shoes, Hygiene stuff, bags. It was a ton of stuff. It was so much fun! The 3 workshops we had were Eating and Exercise, Hair and Makeup and Sewing. It was awesome! I learned so much! There was so much hard work put into it and it was amazing. All of the sisters loved it.
Saturday we went and did some service for Sister S in the ward. We helped her paint her laundry room. It was so much fun! I love Sister S! We had a lot of fun together. Sunday we went there for dinner too and shared a message about the Atonement. Sister S has an amazing testimony of the Atonement. I really loved hearing how it has helped her in her life she has been through some stuff that I cannot even imagine going through. It was a good lesson.
The Mission and really the church is starting something called the "Easter initiative" On Mormon.org they have a video called "Because of Him". They are encouraging members to share the video on Facebook and email and share it with the hashtag #Becuaseofhim along with their testimony . We watched it for the first time yesterday and it gave me chills and brought me to tears. I am so grateful for my Savior and everything he has done for me. Because of him I have someone that not only knows exactly what I have/ am going through but also exactly what I need to know he is aware of me and that everything will be alright.
I want to invite you all to share the video along with your testimony of FB and reflect on what the Savior means to you.
I love You all! What a wonderful thing to know that He is Risen and Lives today! I hope you all have a great Easter!
Love, Sister Forsey
