Hello everyone!
Wow what a week, really though no joke it really is a time warp!
Monday was our P-day we just spent it grocery shopping and getting all settled at the apartment (well I did) ha ha the rest of the week I cant even tell you! ha ha I'll just add in some highlights.
We met a guy while visiting a potential investigator and he told us all about how he believes in the Illuminati? You'll have to read about it, I just kind of nodded and smiled. Which is what your supposed to do when you talk to crazy people right? ha ha just kidding.
Most of our investigators are doing great! Carrie, our newest investigator, is really loving what we teach her and can feel the spirit. Oh! and she committed to be baptized! I did the asking and she did the accepting! Woo! It was awesome! We have a baptism this week for Tina! Woo! She was being taught before I came, I have only met her once. Quintonio and Martha are working towards their baptism really trying hard to follow the word of wisdom.
This week we were driving on the ranch. (yes the Church's Ranch, it's called Deseret Cattle and Citrus). We were driving to a dinner appt. and just walking on the side of the road there was a huge Gator! Not an investi-gator but an actual Gator! I screamed ha ha it kind of snuck up on me. So we pulled over and got some pics of it.
Friday night the ward had a camp-out by the rodeo grounds on the Ranch. So we brought some of our investigators and it was sweet! They had a potluck dinner and a campfire. All of which we got to enjoy.
I love the area I am in. The Ranch is pretty big so all along it there are houses where people who work on the ranch and their families and the couple missionaries live. We do not serve in Melbourne, just live there. We cover Holopaw, and St. Cloud.
Saturday and Sunday we got to watch conference at the Church, WOW! is all I can say, what an amazing conference! I loved so many talks its hard to say my favorite, but it had to be Elder Hollands because having just a little faith can take you so far. I also loved Sister Daltons (so sad she got released!) and President Monson's.
Sounds like you girls had an awesome trip! Man how come we don't do all that fun stuff when I go :( ha ha It's ok, We'll just have to go when I get back and do all those things that were done in my honor with me there... in my honor ha ha. I'm glad it was such a fun trip! So sad for Halli Sue! :( I'll be praying for her! Give her lots of hugs and kisses and tell her her Aunt Nenni loves her! Did she get the Birthday Card I sent her?
Shoney - Thank you so much for the letter I loved it and laughed out loud! I will be writing you back with a hand writtin' letter.
Brower Clan -
Mads - there has been one rainy day and some pretty cool lighting storms but nothing too close. It gets pretty intense here though so we'll see how I handle the next one ha ha.
Noah- Yes I am on the Ranch! It's the church's ranch called Deseret Cattle and Citrus look it on up :) Uncle Stephen- No Mickey and Minny yet but I think maybe you should just fly down here and be my personal assistant. I'll give you 10 Bucks a week and you can sleep in the bath tub ;) ha ha
Love you guys!
Aunt Kim! I am praying for you and sending you love! I hope you get feeling better really soon! I love you!
Sorry for the short letter but I am going to try to send you some pics. I love you all! Can't wait to hear what next week brings you! The church is true, the book is blue, and it's for you, and all around you! Don't forget to "Catch The Wave" of missionary work!
Love, Sister Forsey
