Hey Everyone!
Wow! What a farewell Kim! Way to go! the spirit I'm sure was so strong it set the alarm off. hahaha I'm glad everything went well! I am so excited for you Kim! Have an amazing last week and a half! I need your MTC address so I can write you! Love you!!
Alright so another week down already?? wwhhhhhaaaatttt????? So crazy!! Monday we had a lesson with Christy, Bryan and Jamie. Christy is starting to feel the spirit again as she reads the Book of Mormon and also Bryan commited to be baptized on June 30th WOOOOOO HOOO!!! IT was an awesome lesson! It was one of those where you walk out and you just want to shout from the mountain tops that the church is true!!! hahaha
Tuesday we went to see Joe and he liked us there just for company so we had to tell him that we couldn't see him anymore unless he wanted to learn more. sad day. But he was very nice and funny as ussual! Then we had a lesson with Veronica (Cristy's less active daughter) it went awesome! She is ready to turn her life around and come back to church. Later that night we had dinner with the Bevan's and some single sisters. After dinner we went to visit some potential investigators with the Bevans and then after we went to Yummieland for frozen yogurt!! It was a great night!
Wednesday it rained ALL day. We visited Diana and some other members. We met a sister who looks just like Adele. It's crazy! She said her sister looks even more like her. haha.
Thursday we had Zone Teaching Meeting and it was great! There are so many terrific missionaries here! We then went knocking that day and Pres. Snow and his wife invited us to dinner. They came and got us and took us to Longhorn Steakhouse. It was sooooooooo good! They spoiled us! It was raining all day that day too and while we were at the steakhouse we saw on TV that it was Tropical Storm Andrea that was all around us. haha We just thought it was really coming down. Well hopefully someone will tell us when it's a hurricane!
Friday we did weekly planning and Sis. Hoffmeier had a sore throat and fever so I ordered her to bed for a nap! Then later that night we met with Christy and her family again. We taught about the importance of church attendance and it was a wow lesson! They said they are really seeing the changes in their family. The gospel changes lives!!!
Saturday we were on our Bikes and it was HOT! I just melted seriously. We knocked doors that day and visited some less actives. A Sister who is less active tried to give us some Iced Tea and I was like, "oh we don't drink tea, sorry! Could we please have some water?" haha dodged that bullet! Later that evening this huge lightning storm rolled in so we took shelter at Mcdonalds, once the lightning stopped, we biked home. We got soaked.
Sunday Christy and her family came to church!!!! AHHHHHH!!! It was so awesome!! We were so excited!!! They only stayed until after sunday school but hey, we were just stoked they came! Then in Relief Society we had an powerful lesson! The new RS pres. is amazing! She is just making the changes that need to be made to have this ward move forward to where it needs to be! Last night we had Dinner at the Bishop's, which was great!
Today we are going to play water games with the district so that will be fun! We have a busy week ahead of us! There are 23 new Sisters coming in next Monday for the transfer. So we will see who stays and who goes :( I'm super sad because I love Sis. Hoffmeier and this area!!! But I know that just as much as I love it here I will love it elsewhere! Alright I'm gonna finish this up now so I can get some pictures sent! Love you all!! The church is true!
Love,
Sister Forsey
Dad -I am doing Great!! I can't believe that this transfer is already almost over! Time flies when your serving the Lord, and working hard! The bike is working great, and it has been a miracle with my cyst I have rarely had any discomfort since my blessing. The priesthood is real and I am so grateful to be surrounded by it. Could you look and see if anyone has a GPS on KSL for super cheap? I could really use it. But I'm not in like dyer need of it! Just if you happen to see one for cheap. I love you dad! Thank you so much for writing me!
Mom- Sounds like you are exhausted! And you have good reason to be! go and rest. Spend a lot of time with Kim. I love you!
Kim - I am just so excited for you!! love you!
