Our DETERMINATION is to invite others to come unto Christ
Hello!
Mom and Aunt Kris looks like you guys had a blast!! So happy for you!! Thanks Aunt Kris for taking care and loving my mom!
Well this week has been full of working with Less Actives and service. Which I love!! Monday night we went to the Byron Family's home for a St. Patricks day Party!! It was so much fun!! They had the music going and then we all had matching T-shirts. Well the girls all had the same and the boys the same. They are so sweet! I felt just a part of the family! It was a fun night full of really good food too!! Irish Soda bread, Corned Beef, Cabbage, Cooked Carrots, Boiled Potatoes. It was really really good. I think I need to go to Ireland! Hey Mom What is our heritage?? I know England but any Ireland? Oh and What is Forsey from? Like what is the Heritage of it?
We saw Sister Meeks and Sister Bougiers this week. They are both in a Rehab center. They are so sweet. They both have Dementia and are just the sweetest ladies ever. Sister Bougiers in the past hasn't had good day when we came but this week she was having a really good day! She sat up and chatted with us and let us share a scripture with her. It was fun.
We had a District meeting this week and I was asked to give a training on our purpose as missionaries. Well Our Purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ by Helping them receive the restored gospel through Faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement, Repentance, Baptism, and receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Well i looked up the definition of Purpose (classic) and it said determination. I LOVED that because if anyone knows me If I am determined to make something happen by golly it's gonna happen! So I changed it to Our Determination is to invite others to come unto Christ by Helping them receive the restored gospel through Faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement, Repentance, Baptism, and receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost. It was pretty good.
We were knocking this past week and we met this really sweet elderly man who told us that his wife had just passed 10 days earlier. My heart ached for him. We testified that he would see his wife again and that Heavenly Father is aware of him at this time. He was very grateful for that.
That night we also taught a Scripture Study class on Prayer. I am so grateful for Prayer. I love to be able to talk to Heavenly Father everyday multiple times a day about anything and everything. He is there to take away the hurt when I am hurting and to have that joy with me when I happy. We have a loving Father in Heaven I know this to be true and I know that he is aware of EVERY single ONE of his children on this earth. Find out for yourself. Pray and ask.
The rest of the week we were able to do some service with our Ward mission leader's wife. They are getting ready to move so we were helping them clean out their garage. Their inactive daughter was there and some non-members It was great to be able to talk with them and get to know them! I think they definitely felt the spirit while we were talking with them.
Well that should do it for this week. We are all going to go Roller Skating for District P Day. I am soooo STOKED!! Holy Cow it is going to be so much fun! I love you all I hope you have a wonderful week!!
:D Love, Sister Forsey
P.S. Spring Time a ring a ding time! For those who love the spring! haha Happy Spring!! :D
