Hi Fam and Friends!
Well this week wasn't too shabby. We had exchanges this week with the STL's Sister Parker and Sister Higley. They are both so awesome!
Sister Higley came to Clermont with me and we just had a great time! We laughed, and cried, and laughed some more. We had a heart to heart where we were just able to talk about the things we were struggling with and giving each other advice. It was so wonderful. She is a go-getter! She has so much power. A lot of sisters are intimidated by her and put her on this pedestal so she has been struggling with that especially since she is an STL it's even worst. She also gave me some advice about somethings I have been struggling with. But all is well now.
We did a lot of finding that day and we did not meet one mean person. It was like Sister Higley had this magic spell on everyone we met. It was so cool! We made a lot of good contacts.
Wednesday we had district meeting and had lunch with a Less Active. Her and her husband both have jobs that they work on Sunday. They are trying to get new ones so they can come. We are working with them.
Thursday we met with another Less Active. She is really close with our investigator J. She and her family got him into investigating the church. We were talking with her and asking about J because we haven't heard from him in a few weeks. She was telling us that he has fallen off the band wagon once again. We are trying to figure out what we can do to help him but until he makes the choice for himself we can't do much. Please keep him in your prayers.
Saturday was a day full of contacting and teaching. We met with our other investigator Martha. She is so sweet we were able to get her a Creole Book of Mormon so she is excited to read it. We were also able to get in contact with a referral that we have been trying to contact for like a month. He was very thankful that we kept on trying. We are excited to teach him this week.
Well that is about it for the week folks. Tune in next time for another week of exciting mission stories from the one and only Sister Forsey....in florida haha.
Love you all! Love, Sister Forsey
