Time to Embark on another Adventure!
Hello Everyone!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT LAURA AND UNCLE STEPHEN!! I hope you guys have had a fabulous day!! I love you!!
Holy Cow Today marks 10 months out! Time flies! Well this week we froze!! It was so cold!! It's frustrating because I would say send me some warm stuff or I would go buy some but then the next day it's 80 degrees again. So we just bare the cold and hunker down. We were on bikes this week with skirts so it's really cold! haha but hey I'm from Utah I can handle it right??
This week was full of service and of course teaching the Gospel! We saw one of our investigators yesterday. We taught her about the Priesthood and how The Church of Jesus Christ is the only church on earth with the correct Priesthood authority from God. We were really bold with her and I believe the spirit bore witness to her that what we were telling her is the truth. Then she had all these questions about the Plan of Salvation so we started teaching her all about the Plan of Salvation. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have been raised in the church. And to have all the answers to where I was before this life and why I am here and Where I am going. So very Blessed. Sis. Casablanca came with us and they just hit it off.
We had dinner with a new family that just moved in this week. They are awesome! The Leonard Family is their name and they just fit right in with the ward. I felt I was right at home at their house.
This week has been filled also with following up with potential investigators and finding new ones! We have found some pretty awesome potentials this week and I am excited for the sisters to teach them and baptize them hopefully!
So Saturday night I found out that I will be transferred tomorrow. I am so sad to be leaving Lake Mary! I love this area and the People here. Saying goodbye to everyone was kind of tough but I know that Heavenly Father has the bigger picture. I know I am needed elsewhere. I am really excited to get to know more people and to come to love another area just as much.
Yesterday and today are filled with packing and saying goodbye to everyone here. Well not saying Goodbye but see you later because I will be back!
Today Sis. Phillip's and her next door neighbor, Doris, took us out to A Birthday (for Sis. Phillips)/ Goodbye lunch for me. They are both so sweet, While we were walking out Doris told me "Don't tell the other girls but you are my favorite" I just laughed.
When I told Bro. Dutes, I was leaving as well he thanked me for everything I have done for him and for motivating him to come back to church.
Oh how I will miss Lake Mary. Time to embark on another Adventure! Right in time for my Birrfffday!!! haha
Well I hope you all have a wonderful week! Love you!
Love, Sister Forsey
Hi Mom- so guess what I just did? I accidentally erased all the pictures from my 4 GB SD Card. I am crying. It is all my pictures from my whole mission so far and some before my mission. I took it to Geek Squad and they said there is nothing they can do. All i did was stick in the computer and try to attach some pictures on my email and then it just said it was gone. Everything. I am sending it home for Dad and Chris to look at. I am just so sad. I hope they can figure it out. Something about formatting??? I remember dad was talking about that. So I am putting it in the mail right now. Pray, as i will that heavenly Father will work a miracle and it all will be returned.
