Hey Ya'll!
This week has been amazing! So much has happened! I just can't contain my excitement.
So Monday we went Minnie Golfing for District P Day and it was a lot of fun! It was at this place called Congo River and it is this cool safari looking place. You'll be able to see in the pictures and they had live Baby Gators! So cool. That night we had a lesson with a recent Convert, Nick and he has his lessons at his girlfriends house who is a member. She and her brother have a room mate who is not a member, R. He is so sweet. He sat in on the lesson and we taught the Restoration. He had a lot of questions and we invited him to Read the Book of Mormon and to Pray and he said he would.
On Tuesday We taught a lot of members. The President has asked us to start teaching 12 member lessons a week and keeping the lesson to 20 min. And to teach them the Restoration. It has been cool to see miracles come from that.
Wednesday we went on a Temple Tour with T and K. It was so fun! Then spirit was so strong on the grounds and they were able to feel it there. They really enjoyed it. T is a man of little words and he didn't really say a whole lot and I was kind of frustrated with him. I wasn't sure that he really was allowing his heart to be softened.
Thursday morning I was studying from Preach my Gospel and I studied what our investigators need to feel in order to be converted. I was reading in Enos and Mosiah and it just hit me. They need faith in Jesus Chris and His Atonement. Hello! haha So The next lesson we had with T we talked about the Savior and about his atonement. We showed the Bible videos and the spirit is always so strong when you talk about Christ and his infinite Atonement. I think it finally hit T that the savior did that for HIM and he didn't need to suffer any longer. His friend A joined us and he loved the lesson. We will be teaching him again his week.
Sunday was just a day full of miracles! A member from the spanish ward brought her Step Daughter who just moved here from Miami to the ward. She speaks English and wants to learn about the Church. We are meeting with her this week. Then T and A and R all came to church how cool is that???? They all loved it. T was showing A all around and helping him to know what to do and where to go. T met with the Bishop to talk with him a little bit about getting Baptized and when he walked out of that office he was just on cloud nine! He was telling everyone that he was getting Baptized next Sunday!! Baptism!! WOOOO HOOOOO!!!! Keep him in your prayers please! He needs all the prayers he can get! Then R said in the third meeting when he introduced himself that he feels like this is where God wants him to be. Heck yes it is R!! It was just miracle filled.
Then that night we had the impression to see a sister in the ward. We went and shared a message with her and it was just what she needed. She felt the spirit so strongly. I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!! It's the best! Especially when I get to be a tool in the Lord's hands.
Well This week will be miracle filled as well I am sure!
I love you all! Have a great week!
Love, Sister Forsey
HAPPY BIRTDAY CHRIS! And Josh next sunday! Love ya guys!
PS I think Spencer and Brandon should go and do Hale Theater! That would be so cool!
