Hey ya'll!
What a week! Seriously the Days feel like weeks but the weeks feel like days!
Monday after the library (where we email) we just got some laundry done, and wrote some letters, and took a nap so our bodies could fully recuperate from being sick. Thank you all so much for your prayers! Sister Peck and I are feeling much better!
On Tuesday we just did more work and work haha We were tracting in Holopaw and saw a man out in his yard and started to talk to him. He told us all about how he hates Jehovah Witnesses and didn't want to hear anything from us. I swear EVERYBODY here thinks we are Jehovah's witnesses. Oh well just gives us an opportunity to talk more right?
Wednesday we were tracking and I took the lead with some of the houses and I think I'm really getting the hang of it. Practice makes perfect right? honestly my favorite part really is talking to people and getting to know their story. You can't find people like the people in Holopaw anywhere else! That night we were at a members house for dinner and we were walking up to the house and Sister Peck just stopped, I was like what is wrong? then I looked up, on the porch there was this huge black snake! We just stood there, frozen. Luckily the member whose home we were at had her friend there (they are both widows) and Sis. Short (the friend) came and got a garden hoe and just started to like fight it. The snake started to try and bite her. It was so scary!! I was like she's gonna get bitten and then she's gonna die! ahhhh! But luckily she was able to push it back off the porch! Thank goodness for Sis. Short. haha!
Wednesday night we had exchanges (where we just change companions for 24 hours) with the St. Cloud Sisters. I went to St. Cloud with Sis. Staley and Sis. Pitts (the girl we met at brick oven) came over to Ellsworth with Sis. Peck. Sister Staley and Sis. Peck were companions in another area. Sister Staley was awesome! I learned so much from her! We just laughed and laughed the entire time!
On Thursday in St. Cloud we got to help a less active move and do some service! Boy did it feel good to do some actual physical labor service! It was for a little old couple and they were so cute and nice! Then we went tracting a bit and over to a members home for dinner. After dinner we taught one of their investigators, Lisa and her daughter Maddie. They were sweethearts! Both families were going to Disneyworld on Friday and Saturday I was super jealous! Thursday night i was back in my area with Sis. Peck.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were more of the same! Carrie is letting us teach her daughter Kaleigh which is awesome! Carrie also made it to Sunday school and Relief society. The lesson really spoke to her so she had an awesome experience and said she is definitely coming back next week!
All of our investigators are doing great! They feel your prayers and I am so grateful for them!
I got asked to sing in Sacrament meeting next week. And so it begins! haha I will let you know how it goes. I am pretty sure I am going to sing Jesus, Once of Humble Birth.
Aunt Kris I can't believe someone has been sneaking in your hot tub!! I'm glad you caught them though!
Ok I need info on this Boston Bombing I haven't heard much about it and am really curious...
That is so awesome about Uncle Tom being called into the Bishopric as 2nd Counselor!! He will be great!
I love you all!! I pray for you all and hope you have an awesome week! The Lord has his hand in everything! No doubt about that! haha The church is true!
Love you! - Sister Forsey
Nichole- You are slacking on the pictures of Paige girl!! I need some pictures of my cute niece!! haha
Mom- I'm not so sure with the blog. Facebook is fine. Well I don't know I'll let you decide what to do. I'm glad they found out about Paige although that crooked smile is just too cute! That is so awesome about Hana's farewell! She is amazing! I am so glad that you and dad are going to Rachel's sealing! Thank you so much! Please hug her for me and tell her I love her and am so proud of her! You are totally fine to wear my green shoes! :D I never did get that shaver from Walmart and I don't think I will need it but thank you! and that may change so I'll let you know.
Mom you need to be careful! you don't have me home there to tell you to take it easy! I need you healthy and rearing to do stuff with me when I get back! haha I am so grateful to you mom! I love you so much! I always print out your letters and they help me get through the next week. haha I love you to the moon and back! Talk to you next week! - Jenni
