JULY 29, 2013 Conway (South of Orlando) Companion: Sis. Hoffmeier TRANSFER WEEK: moving to Orlando Area (North Mary's Lake) SENIOR COMPANION NOW NEW COMPANION: Sis. Ransom your in my world now, grandma!...ha ha ha Hello Family and friends! Well this week has been a doosey! First of all Grandpa Traylor I am praying for you! And I am putting my foot down, you need to move somewhere closer to us so we can keep our eye on you! WE cant loose you! If you are still in the big house alone when I get back, you better believe I am moving in! We still have to write our book, "The World According to Lester!"... I love you!! MOM, make him well! also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Grandpa Forsey! I love you and wish I could be there to celebrate! and Spence!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I hope you have a wonderful day! Love ya bro! Well back to the work.... Monday we had district Pday and it was really fun. We went to the chapel and played games, like dodge ball, racquetball (sort of), mafia, and psychiatrist. It was fun! Then we had a lesson with the Millans. We taught them the Plan of Salvation and the dad LOVED it! He wanted to learn and read more about it. Monday night we found out that Sis. Hoffmeier is training again, so we are being separated :( Tuesday we had District Meeting and I gave a training on Baptism and Confirmation. It went good! It made me realize that I am here to Baptize! to bring people to the gospel and offer them Exaltation! After DM we came home and I wasn't feeling too good so I laid down and rested. After I felt a little better we met with some less active members and also, Diana. We taught her and her family the plan of Salvation as well. And she always feeds us so we ate and then I felt REALLY sick, so we came back home. Later that night we had interviews with President Berry so I sucked it up and went. I just love President Berry! He truly is a man of God and he and sister Berry are called of God. I just love them both so much and am so grateful for them! Wednesday we met with a returning member, she has been going through a lot with her Ex husband so we went over to offer her some comfort and peace. Later in the day sister Berry called, she noticed that I had come out of the Interview with president very emotional. What can I say I'm a cryer! haha You mention my family sometimes and I'll cry at a drop of a hat! haha But she was just concerned and wanted to let me know that she was thinking of me and loved me. How sweet is that?? I don't think I can say it enough... I just Love the President and Sister Berry! We had a dinner with a member that night. Sister Gilger, she is awesome! so sweet and fun! We also had our scripture study class, Sister Mize taught and it was all on Family History work. It was very enlightening and I am excited to do some history work when I get home! I got a letter that day from Kimmi and Annie Woodward. It made my day! I love mail! Please tell Annie I got her letter and I LOVED IT! :) Thursday we had temple service and I don't know what I had but I was super sick again after that. I slept after that to see if I could feel better. We had a dinner appointment so we went to that and I was still really not feeling well. I must of had a stomach bug. But Friday morning I woke up just fine. Sister Hoffmeier needed to go to the Trainers meeting and so I went to Winter Garden to be with some sisters there. It was a fun afternoon, we visited a sister in their ward who is 96 yrs. old and doesn't look a day over 80! She was very nice. Then sister Hoffmeier returned We did weekly planning and the Bevans wanted to take us out to dinner. I just love the Bevans! they are the best! After Dinner we went on a Temple Tour with the Millan family! It was so awesome! I think they really enjoyed it and there was such a strong spirit of family and love.check out the picture! Saturday we rode our bikes and went bike contacting. We had a lesson with an investigator named Gina, she is really sweet and I think she will really soak up the gospel! We just visited some members and went knocking. While knocking a frog fell on my head, yup a frog, luckily it just like bounced off but it was gross. And then we knocked on a door that had a sign that said "no soliciting" and the guy opened the door and we told him we were missionaries and he said " so you're selling Jesus Christ?" and I said "We're not selling at all, just wondering if you would like to learn more" He said no and shut the door. We were walking away and sister Hoffmeier leans over to me and says, " selling Jesus Christ, Yea I got his finger in my bag, how much do you wanna give me for it?" bahahahaha I just laughed it was hilarious! We get a little bugged when people tell us we're solicitors, so it was funny how she said it. Sunday the Millans came to church and stayed all 3 hours yay! after Church we had a hotdog social with the ward, it was fun! And then a baptism meeting. No one was getting baptized so we just had a testimony meeting but it was good. We got home and there was a massive storm so we went over to the Bevans and watched the Testaments. I forgot the part in the last minute or so when Jesus comes up to Helam and calls him by name and then heals him. I almost lost it. I held it in though! The Lord knows each of us by name and loves us. I know that to be true. Transfers are tomorrow I am leaving Conway :( and heading up to the Orlando Zone to the Lake Mary North Area. My new Companion is Sister Ransom she is still in her training, so I guess I am finishing her training and am now the senior companion. "You're in my world now grandma!" ....name the movie... haha ask Spencer. I am excited to meet new people and to serve Sister Ransom in any way I can. This church is true. I love you all! Love, Sister Forsey Mom- I did hear that the guy that plays Finn passed away . The funny thing is that I now see just how terrible that show really is haha. I was talking to a sister and she said I have a quote that says "You don't know just how bad you are until you try to be all good" so true! haha I am learning so much! I Love you! Please give grandpa a big hug for me and take care of him! I gots to have my 'finer than frogs hair grandpa'! I love you I love you I love you! You gotta keep your head up oohhhhhhhhhh! haha :D
President & Sis. Berry, my new mission president
July 22, 2013 2nd Area: Conway (South of Orlando) Companion: Sis. Hoffmeier Hey Ya'll! To answer some of your questions:
Well last Monday after we got home from emailing and shopping. I went into the laundry room to change the wash and it was flooded. The washer broke and there was water everywhere. Maintenance came and said we need a whole new washer, so they ordered us one and said it would probably only take a few days. Well it's a week later and nothing. ha ha! That night we visited a sister and she reminds me so much of Clarissa Deem Crocket, I just love her! She is hilarious. Oh and by the way, please tell Clarissa...happy pushing! I hear that she is having her baby really soon! Mom, I'm so glad that you got to go to her shower and you added some fun stuff to give her. Back to this sister, I just love it how I can look around my ward and see different people that remind me of people that I know back home. I love it! Tuesday we had District meeting and went knocking on some doors, visited some members and then a member took us out to dinner at Chili's! It was great! HEY YALL, TAKE THE MISSIONARIES TO DINNER FOR EXTRA BLESSINGS! WINK WINK! Then we had a lesson with Maria. She is just not progressing and we are questioning her true desire, so we may need to drop her. But we will see, we need to really pray and ponder about it. Sad and hard, really hard when we have to make decisions like this. Wednesday we went knocking and no luck. After knocking, we had a lesson with Diana and her family... it went really well. We watched the Restoration video and they loved it. We had another lesson scheduled that night with a potential Gator named John, he wasn't home. Hate that when that happens! Then we went to Scripture Study class, it was on forgiveness. It was really good! Annnndddd good timing. I am so grateful for the atonement and our opportunity to use it to help us forgive others and improve ourselves each day. It is real and powerful. Thursday we were knocking and met a nice man named Edward. He said he believed in Christ, but didn't have faith in him. hmmmmmmm, so we shared a scripture with him and were on our way. A few doors up (we were at an apartment complex), we met Charles, he's Jamaican and is the religion from there (rastafari). But we gave him a book of Mormon and he said he would read it. Then we had lunch with a member, Sister Fischer and her friend, Colin. I just love them! They are so funny! They LOVE America, and were really into the Zimmerman case. They are afraid that now the Stand Your Ground (Florida's gun right law), will be abolished. So we shall see. When we get with the members, it gives us the charge we need to keep on going...I just love it when members want to offer something to the missionaries. You just don't know how important that is. Then we had a lesson with the Millan family. We taught about faith and read from Mathew 8 and 9. Then we talked about how Faith + Action = Miracles. It was a good lesson! Friday, we were Knocking at another apartment complex and a person from management came to us and told us there was no soliciting here. We said "oh, we're not solicitors, we're missionaries!" and he just looked at us and said, "well, you can't do that here". So we just smiled, said, "ok" and left. We tried to visit some less actives, but no one was home and while we were on our way home, my chain did something weird. I couldn't really ride my bike, so we called the elders and they came to the rescue! They fixed it and all was well. It was something really easy to fix too, of course! ha ha But I am so grateful for such wonderful Elders! Then we came home, did some weekly planning, had dinner, and then looked outside. It was a HUGE storm. We didn't have the car, so we just stayed inside to wait for it to subside. It didn't subside. ha ha We just had a movie night and watched these really cool Doctrine and Covenants short videos that we could possibly use in lessons. They were really good! And we will definitely use them, so not a lost cause after all- we called it lesson planning night during a terrible storm. Saturday we met a really nice girl, named Gina. I can see potential in her! We shared a scripture and set up an appointment for next Saturday. Then we visited some members. One was Brother Krause and he shared his conversion story with us! It was so cool! He was in the Air Force and was dating his wife, who was also a member. She invited him to hear the discussion and he was reluctant at the time, but finally said alright. He had the motive of wanting to disprove the missionaries. He did everything they asked him to do, followed the word of wisdom, read the Book of Mormon everyday, prayed everyday. He said he did it all so he could at the end say, "look I did everything you told me to and nothing happened". But while doing everything the missionaries asked him to, his heart softened and he was converted! How cool is that?!?!?! I just love conversion stories! Sunday the Millan's came to church. which was awesome! and we met with and talked to some potentials and members. One of the members, the Sellers family are heading to Utah and will be there on Pioneer day! They said they plan to watch the parade and will Yell for the Forsey's, haha! Well I love you all, The church is true! Love, Sister Forsey DON'T FORGET TO GO TO MY PICTURES, CAUSE I POSTED MORE THIS WEEK! http://jenninflorida.weebly.com/picture-book.html 2nd Area: Conway (South of Orlando) Companion: Sis. Hoffmeier Hello Everyone! Seriously, I know I say this a lot, but this whole mission is a time warp!! I can't believe that it is Monday Again! And I've been out for 4 months, whew! Time flies when your having fun and serving the Lord! As I said before...I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY! Well on to my week: Last Monday night we went knocking on some doors and this one lady opened the door, took one look at us and our missionary tags and said, "I'm sorry I shouldn't of even opened the door". We didn't even get to say who we were. Ha ha, oh well, I just think back to 2 Nephi when Nephi says to all who don't receive or accept the words of the Jews and the Lord's words, "I bid thee an everlasting farewell." Or something to that effect. Ha ha- so that's what we say, "We bid you an everlasting farewell!" And just keep going! NEXT!!!!!!!! There was this card thing that Sister Hoffmeier got and it said, Keep Calm and Pedal On -with a picture of a missionary shirt, tie, and tag. Ha ha! I loved it. Great thought and something for US to remember! Tuesday we met President and Sister Berry! Oh my gosh I LOVE them!! They are two people truly called of the Lord to lead this mission. They have a vision and are working hard to see it through. I just "clicked" with Sister Berry, she is so much fun and so sweet! I just love them both. They gave us all a coin that we are supposed to keep with us at all times- I'll have to send a picture of it next week. But it is so cool and President Berry wants us to focus on loving the people and serving the people. I love that. The coin is a reminder. They also used to live in Holladay right close to us! Small world! We also visited some members on Tuesday. One member we visited with is a women who's husband is not a member, but he is so funny! And he is really into real estate and all this health stuff as well as Dave Ramsey and Glenn Beck! I was like, "oh my gosh you are just like my dad!" ha ha It was great! I love it when I make connections with people that remind me of people back home, especially people who happen to MY PEOPLE! Love ya Dad! We also went and saw the Millan family. We taught about Prayer and Sis. Paulino from the ward, came and shared her conversion story. It was so awesome- I love it when people share about how they came to know of the truth. It just brings the spirit so strong! And seems to bring us all back to those moments when we were 'converted'! Wednesday we did the same stuff as usual, knocked doors, visited some members, and that night we had the scripture study class. Elder Bevans taught it, it was on families. It was so good of course! That man is something special I tell ya! How blessed we missionaries are to have older couples serve the Lord through serving missions and keeping an eye out for us younger folks! Thursday was another long day of visiting people. We taught Maria the plan of salvation. It went well, she understood all of it and it made sense to her. Then we came home and the Bevans came over and said they had a surprise for me... IT WAS A PACKAGE!!! WOOO HOOOOO!!! I LOVE packages!! It made my day! THANKS MOM AND DAD! A package to a missionary is like having Christmas morning, even if it is simple stuff cause we are all about simple things. It is out of small and simple things...that GREAT things come to pass! Those packages are tender mercies, the extra batteries, the manna from Heaven! ha ha...ok I think you get it. Friday we went and saw a member referral and she told us that what the member was telling her she knew! She had never heard it before but it sounded very familiar to her. I love it when that happens!! Ahhhh, like coming home! She was so cute and we are excited to teach her. We told her when she has the time (she is super busy and redoing her house right now) we would love to come and teach her more. So we shall see! hummm, maybe we will just have to come and do some service with her. During dinner at a members home, we watched the Movie "Legacy". I hadn't seen that movie for years!! It is so good! I remember watching it at Granny Traylor's house on sleep overs. I loved it, great fond memories came to my mind. Another little tender mercy! Saturday we biked our little hearts out! We met this guy at a bus stop and he went off! He would not stop talking for like 30 minutes straight. We were trying to be nice and polite and say, "we have to go, we are so sorry!" But he wouldn't let us get a word in, so I'm afraid we finally just had to stop him and say we really have to go. And we left. So that was that. It reminds me to BE AWARE of what is going on around you...don't be a triple no not! right dad?!? Sunday we had church and dinner at the Silva's home. THANKS TO ALL THOSE GREAT PEOPLE THAT FEED US MISSIONARIES! It was so good! Then we went and showed the Bevan's where the Peacock nesting grounds are. There is a neighborhood full of them close to the Silva's home! It is cool! So we showed them that, then we came home and planned our week. It has been a wonderful week and I am excited to see what the next one brings. That is so exciting that Josh gets home today! A little weird!! But awesome! Also, Congrats to Drea and Brad! I am so happy for them! I love the name Isabella Sofia! So beautiful. I will definitely keep Brooke in my prayers. Aunt Janet and Uncle David, Lance & Brooke...Stay strong! Everything will be alright. Keep the Faith! I love you all and I will talk to you next week! Happy Monday! The Church is true! Love, Sister Forsey Mom - Oh my gosh I LOVE the blog! It is so amazing! You did some amazing work! But I am going to be changing the names of the investigators just so there is no trouble with that. If you could do that as well, that would be great. I don't know that may be too much work. But I will let you decide. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for the package! The backpack is so much better than my other one! and I LOVE the paris keychain and notebook you and Kimmi got me in Vegas! You are with me always! Just a heads up I bought and downloaded some sheet music to sing in sacrament meeting so there may be a receipt in the mail coming. The black shirt I was thinking of is from forever 21. It should be still in my closet hanging up or in my summer boxes. Tell Kim that there is a little dodad thing at the bookstore at the MTC. I'm not sure if they have one in the CCM but it is a USB port on one side and on the other is where you put your memory stick- it is super useful! You have to ask the cashier for it though. Alright I am out of time but I love you I love you I love you!!!
the orlando temple
Hello everyone! What a great week! It has been hot and humid and brrrreeeezzzzyyyyy!!! I LOVE the breeze! The breeze is my best friend! haha Well last Monday was a regular Pday, we just email, shopped, napped, and wrote letters. Then that night we met a potential investiGATOR, his name is Cameron and he is 14. He is really nice, he has a Book of Mormon and said he would read it, so we shall see! Then we had a lesson with the Mcmillan's. We taught about Tithing. I love tithing! Mom and Dad thank you so much for always teaching us to pay a full tithe and doing it yourself! I was reflecting on the blessing I have received from tithing and thinking back to all those times we thought that we were gonna loose the house or something big like that and we have always been taken care of. It is because Mom and Dad have ALWAYS paid a full tithe. I am just so grateful for the blessing of tithing and the Lord always looking out for us! Tuesday we knocked on doors, visited some Less Actives and Diana. We had Dinner at the Wozniak's. Sister Wozniak is pregnant with twins. She is the nicest sister! I am so grateful for her and her family! Wednesday we did Temple Service! The temple is closed still so we were doing some major grounds work. We pulled weeds in the beds around the temple. Then we had Lunch with Sister Coleman, she is a true southern girl! She took us to the Cracker Barrel! It made me miss Thursday lunches with Grandpa Traylor! I thought of you grandpa the entire time we were there! Love you!! It was all good fun! Then we visited some other sisters and met with the Bevan's to clean up the Ward Roster. There are sooooo many names on that thing and most of the people on there have moved or passed away. Thursday we had Zone Teaching Meeting. It was really good! The ZL's told us that we are now to wear our name tags on the right side instead of the left. Sad Day. I liked it over my heart. But what can you do? Later that day we visited Sister Rose. On Tuesday we got the feeling we need to visit her, and that something was wrong. We went and she wasn't in her room at the rest home. We thought maybe she was at an activity or something. so we left and on Wednesday we found out from the RS pres. that she was admitted to the hospital because she almost went into a Diabetic coma. So we went to the hospital on Thursday and saw her. She was so happy we came! She said she had prayed for us to come. Wow. I just love Sis. Rose she is a sweetheart and I am so thankfull that the Spirit kept directing us to go visit her!!! Then we had dinner with Sister Baez, she is a talker! haha but she is so much fun! Then because it was the 4th of July and I am in the Zone by the Temple, we all went to the Temple to watch Fireworks. We got to go on the roof...yep the roof of the TEMPLE! It was awesome!! We could see the fireworks at Disney World, Sea World, and All around. It was a once in a lifetime thing and it was SO COOOOLLL!!! But we were so tired that night, we got to stay out until 10:30 and I was pooped! 10:30 is just too late for me now! haha---Oh yes, momma...I HAVE CHANGED!!!! ha ha Friday we had weekly planning and went knocking, continued working on the ward roster, and we had another lesson with the Mcmillan's. Lawrence (the dad) is coming along slowly but surely. We are going to be patient with him. In order for him to give his permission for his kids to be baptized, they need to read the first few books of the new Testament. So we are going through those with them (which I LOVE! thanks MOM for sharing 'the Gospels' with me- I am so grateful that you taught me to LOVE the Bible, particularly the New Testament!!!. But I do think the Lord is teaching me charity...LONNNNNGGG SUFFERRRRINNNGGG in regards to Lawrence! haha Right mom?? haha After the lesson we met the Golden Rod Sisters for our exchange. I went to the Golden Rod area with Sister Rich and Sis. Hoffmeier stayed in Conway with Sis. Strein. Saturday I was in Golden Rod. We rode our bikes A TON! and knocked A TON! haha But we did meet a nice less active, his name was Bro. Rainey and he gave us cold water and heck give me some cold water and a hot Florida day and I'll be your best friend FOR LIFE!!! We also met a nice Jehovah's Witness. We helped her in with her groceries and after Sis. Rich said, " I like Jehovah's Witnesses, we both knew we were not going to convert one another so we are just nice to each other" hahahaha! So true! Then we came back to Conway to exchange back. Then Correlation meeting. On the way home from correlation I had noticed a woman struggling to get up some stairs and so I hopped out of the car and helped her up along with Sister Hoffmeier and Sis. Bevans. I just love doing service! I wish people would let us do more of it! Sunday all the Mcmillan's came to church!! It was amazing!! and it was Fast and Testimony Sunday and a Sister shared a story that when she was 8 she was raised Baptist and she wanted to be baptized. Her mom told her she needed to wait until she was 12. So when she was 12 she was baptized and when she came out of the water she could feel that something wasn't right. Fast forward to when she was 19 and she met the missionaries. She was then baptized into our church (by the right authority) and she said when she came up out of the water she knew that it was right and that this is the church of Jesus Christ. Wow. what a story! I love stories like that! The church is true, the Atonement is real, and Jesus Christ is our Savior!!! I love being a missionary! Oh! and we are meeting our new Mission President on Tuesday, so I will have to let you know next week how that goes. Well I hope you all have a fabulous week and stay cool in the Utah heat! Love you!! - Sister Forsey Mom- The Zone Leaders slapped our hand because we all need to have more faith while finding people and we are not here to "sell" the church haha. Sorry to burst your bubble but the number on the back of the poem is no longer our number :( You are totally fine about the cookbook, take your time. Sis. Hoffmeier and I are kind of in a routine haha! We live on Frozen pizza and cereal. yup. I think you are mistaken about you loving me more than I could ever love you! cause I love you more!!! Dad- Thank you so much for the email! I hope you liked the letter and poem! I have little time so I haven't read your email yet but I printed it out :D I Love you!! 2nd area: North Conway 2nd Companion: Sis. Hoffmeier (from Maryland) Helloooooo Everyone!
Well it has been quite a week down here in good 'ol Florida! Monday It was one of the Elder's birthdays so I made him his cake that his mom sent him. We just did the usual that day..shopped, emailed, wrote letters, took a nap haha. After dinner we came back to the library for somemormon.org time. Oh my gosh they have this mormon message called "enduring Love" Watch it!! I absolutely love Mormon messages they are sooo good!!! That one will put you to tears! After that we went Knocking and the 2nd house we knocked on a woman came out and she was a Jehovah's Witness. Oh Kay she was talking up a storm! And pulling scriptures out of who knows where??!??!? haha Needless to say... It was exhausting, yet exhilarating and kept us on our toes! So after that we went home and dove into bed! Tuesday we had District Meeting and Sis. Hoffmeier and I gave a training on working with your companion in unity. The Zone leaders were there that day and they talked to us and basically slapped our hands. Well that's how I took it. Lovingly of course but a slap non the less. (now wouldn't you like to know why? haha- well I can't tell you or I would have to kill you...top secret! haha) After that we visited some members, one member her name is Sister Cruz and one of the elders here she really doesn't like. She tells him he is not welcome in her home. She is Hispanic and has a very thick accent and Elder Harrington can't understand her, so she doesn't like him. It's funny, he laughs at it too. We went there and oh boy did she love us! haha She brought out all these purses she makes and jewelry and told us to pick out some jewelry to take home. And also, that we will have to come over so she can make us some purses. She was a lot of fun! Then we had a lesson with the Mcmillan family. We talked to Brian about his Baptism date being on Sunday and he was like, "yeah I'm ready". We were like, "uhhhhh ok! haha" so awesome! so excited! Wednesday we visited the sweetest sister ever! Her name is sister Rose and she lives in a nursing home. She LOVES visitors and was just over the top happy that we were there. We were talking with her and she told us that she knows that she has angels in her room and that they walk around all the time. Well as missionaries you hear some pretty crazy stuff and you can tell if a person is crazy or is genuine. She is genuine, once she said that you could just feel the Heavenly Presence there. She has such a testimony and KNOWS that her father in Heaven Loves her! It was a very neat visit! Later that day we were really struggling with the thought of Brian being ready to be baptized, so we knelt down and prayed. The answer we got was he's ready, so we prayed again to see if that was the right answer and again,... He is ready. So we decided to go forth with faith! One of the things we were struggling with was he didn't really know anyone to baptize him. Which isn't a big deal but we felt like it should be special. So Sis. Hoffmeier and I go about and get ready to leave and I had the thought... Well his older brother is an active member who holds the priesthood and I turned to sis. Hoffmeier and told her and she said, "I just thought that!" Revelation?? I think yes! haha it was awesome!! Later that night we taught the scripture study class and it was all about Patriarchal Blessings. I loved it! I learned alot! Thursday we had Temple Service. The temple was closed so we did some major ground work. I think we planted like 1,000+ flowers.. It was a lot! After that we met with Jamie and Brian to get him ready to be baptized. We asked him all the questions and he knew all the answers! He is usually so quiet in our lessons with the whole family, but he has just been listening and soaking it all up. It was awesome! And he had planned on his brother baptizing him and he knew that he had the correct authority to do so! It was so amazing! We felt soooo good about it! Friday we planned for the week and later had another lesson with the Mcmillan's, we walked in and Brian's dad, Lawrence said "We need to talk about something.... Brian does not have my permission to be baptized. I want him to be baptized but I don't think he is ready. I'd like him to first read the book of Mathew so he knows what baptism is." He also expressed that he likes us coming over to teach his family and he wants us to continue that but he would like us to use more of the bible along with the book of mormon. So we talked and he figured hey we can do that. Then we watched the Restoration video with them. The spirit was so strong!!! during the video I just had this calming feeling that I need to be patient and it is all in Heavenly Fathers Hands and in his timing. After the video the member that was with us, Sis. Paulino, bore a beautiful testimony of the Sacred Grove. And we asked everyone their thoughts while watching it. Brian said he could feel the spirit and Jamie said, " I was just happy while watching it, then it kind of sucked when it ended." and Lawrence said, "I'm not ready to say that Joseph Smith was a prophet... but I don't know, you may have me saying that here soon enough" OH. MY. GOODNESS! How cool is that!!?!?!?! It was amazing!!! We just walked out of that lesson SO HAPPY! like Bursting! We just knew that it is all in Heavenly Father's timing and we are ok with that. Saturday we had a lesson with another investigator, her name is Maria, she is coming along. We just have to get her to read the Book of Mormon. Then we visited a potential, Raqeul. She is super sweet and we gave her a Book of Mormon and she said she will read it. That night we had dinner at the Forseburg's. They are just so kind and giving! They fed us and then gave us all the left overs plus a ton of food left over from a party from Sis. Forseburg's work. I am so grateful for wonderful members like them. (note to you reading...FEED THE MISSIONARIES! THEY NEED IT) Sunday the missionaries were asked to speak on Service. Sis. Hoffmeier gave a wonderful talk followed by Elder Harrington, then I sang a Rendition of "Lord, I would Follow Thee" Sis. Hoffmeier accompanied me. and then Elder Bevans' spoke. It was a great meeting! Also, ALL the McMillans came to church!! Including Lawrence!! WE were so stoked when we saw them all walk in!!! It was amazing and a huge pay day!!! The Lord is blessing this area with many miracles. Pres. Hall a month ago asked us as a mission to all kneel down at 10:20 PM and pray for miracles. WOW. It has made all the difference! Miracles are happening all around!! Well I love you all and miss you too! I hope you have a wonderful week!! The church is true!! Love, Sister Forsey Mom- Thank you so much for being on top of things! I am so appreciative of that! It sounds like you have had a fun week! I havn't read all of your letter yet but I am sure it is a good one! Oh my gosh Halli saying that is so cute!!! haha and Paigers in the tub I just about died!! They are all growing up :( make them stop! haha Send them all my love and I LOVE that you are making a list of movies that we need to watch together! haha keep that up, We will have a moviethon when I get back! I love you, I love you, I love you!!! Thank you for being the most amazing mom a girl could ever hope to ask for!! |
