Hello Fam bam and friends!
I am just going to do some highlights from the week instead of go through each day...
We got to go down to Orlando this week to meet with the President and for some dr. Appointments for Sis. Geilman. Both times I thought oh man it would sure be nice to see the Bevans! We got there and they were there too! Telepathy works! haha I am so grateful for them!
We had a lesson with one of our investigators named Lisa, she has some friends that have been anti-ing her pretty bad but she still wants to meet with us and find out for herself which is awesome!
I got Emmalee and Jake's Wedding announcement, So cute! Thank you guys! Wish I could be there! Love you both!
This week we had an appointment with a woman who said she was interested, so we met with her and her husband and lo and behold they are members. They are the sweetest people and they have all these righteous desires so it was awesome! They didn't make it to church this week but they will one week! Their names are Bill and Collette.
We also had another lesson with Bro. Stude this week. It was a spirit filled lesson! We talked about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Faith. He told us of his experience when he was baptized and that he knows the Book of Mormon is true. It was an awesome lesson. He reminds me alot of Grandpa Traylor. He is very independent.
We also had a miracle this week with that Chinese man I think I mentioned Last week. We met with him and Sis. Dygert on Wednesday and he had read the whole Book of Mormon. We met with him 3 days in a row and he is just soaking up everything. His name is Lee and he is so nice. One day he brought us each an apple. He wants to be baptized and is keeping all of his commitments so we are super excited!
We also were able to meet with another non member, her name is Kristen. She is married to a less active but she invited us over for dinner and we may even have the chance to teach her!
This week we went on exchanges with the Sister Trainer Leaders. I went to Golden Rod with Sister Schmidt. We had so much fun! We just laughed and laughed and laughed. We were able to go to the General Relief Society Broadcast. They had it all set up so cute! The theme was "One Drop at a Time" And they had Hunny Bee Hives everywhere with the decorations. It was top notch just like a Terri and Becks production! It was soo good!
So they had dinner and then a service project, putting together Hygiene kits. And then the Broadcast. I absolutely LOVED the Broadcast! It was so good. When we all sang the opening Song I was holding back tears BIG time. The spirit was so amazing and the talks were awesome! I am so stoked for General conference this weekend! If you haven't had the chance to watch it yet, do it! it is so worth your time.
Yesterday at church we had Bro. Stude there and Lee! It was a great Sunday. It is such a blessing to be able to see people progress in the gospel.
The Book of Mormon Musical is coming to Orlando so for RS yesterday we had like a little training for the members on how to answer questions and to direct them to the Book of Mormon. I think the Lord is making of this Musical what he wants! What a wonderful opportunity for all these members to be missionaries! And what an exciting time for all of us missionaries! I am just so blessed! I love you all! I hope you have a wonderful week!
Love, Sister Forsey
Tasha Beach- Thank you so much for your note and picture saying I absolutely LOVED It! It made my day! It is sitting on my desk! I am so glad Elder Beach is enjoying the Mission Field! it is a wonderful place to be in. I love you Tash!
Mom- I absolutely Loved your Nursery lesson. You are such an example to me. Thank you for being the best mom a girl could ask for! I didn't get a chance to read all of your letter but I am excited to see what you thought of the broadcast. I love you!
