A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY! THANK YOU! & Continue in PATIENCE!
Hello everyone!!!
Thank you all for the wonderful Birthday surprises and gifts!!! I sure did have a great day!!! I am just in awe of how much I am blessed!!! Thank you again!
So this week has been an interesting one! Last Monday for pday us and the minneola sisters had a shopping day! We started off at Goodwill and ended at Target. It was a lot of fun. Retail Therapy is real and the best! haha We did some pre Birthday partying too! It was fun.
Tuesday was the Big 22! It has been pretty cold and rainy lately but Tuesday it was BEAUTIFUL! Blue Skies and not a cloud in them! We got up and I allowed myself I present to open in the morning. It was the Locket with pics of my family in it!!! Mom- I LOVED it!! oh my goodness! It is my favorite! I wear almost everyday! Then we had our studies and went to a lesson with a member. She said she could drive because it was far away and so we pull up to her house and she drives a light green convertible mustang! SCORE!! so we drove to our lesson with Boots, one of our Gators and it went great. She is so sweet. We are hoping we can get her to church so she can feel the spirit there.
We drove back topless. haha It was great! Sunshine on our faces and wind in our hair! Then we went and picked up the Minneola Sisters for our Special Devices training.
Who has two thumbs and got an IPad mini on her birthday??? This Girlll!!!!! haha I was laughing because it will probably be the only birthday I get an IPad mini, and I'm okay with that haha So we were there most of the day. It took a long time getting them all set up and showing us how to use the apps. Then we headed home. We had to cancel our dinner apt. because the meeting ran so late. So we stopped and picked up something to eat. We got permission for the sisters to come and eat dinner with us and we just had a party!!! Opening Giifts, Cake and ice cream. Then we all waited for the surprise that mom had told me to be ready for!!! 9:00 PM came ...and nothing...and then 9:15PM Finally! a knock at the door! I ran to it and opened the door and it was a pizza man!! Wooo hooo!!! I LOVE pizza!!! He was so sweet and nice. HAPPY BIRTHDAY from the Utah Gang!! he said. It was a great Surprise!! Thank you so much Aunt Kris, Uncle Steven and Mom & Dad..what a great birthday! I LOVED it! You guys know me too well!
The rest of the week was full of figuring out how to use our Ipads and doing the Lord's work. Sis. Williams has been dealing with some migraines and so she was put on some medications and on Thursday she woke up with some Hives. So she took some benedryl and they didn't go away so on Friday the mission nurse sent us into Centra Care. While in there I watched On The Lord's Errand: The life of Thomas S. Monson if you haven't seen it, do it!! It is so good and so inspiring so see how he truly is a man of God. Again with the sick companions. haha that is why the subject is Continue in patience haha. I think I'm a bad omen. Haha There must be a reason!!
So. Saturday we had a Ward council Area meeting with 7 members of the seventy and Elder Perry. It was broadcast from Orlando to our building. It was so good! Elder Perry is Hilarious!! He was just so full of Enthusiasm and one of my favorite Quotes from the conference "Enthusiasm is like a Disease!! It is the greatest Disease you could Possibly Spread!!" I love it. He also talked about how we should know those we are over in the church. A relief society President should know how many sisters she has and how many are active and less active. Same goes for all the auxiliaries and positions in the church. There were many other quotes but I am running short on time.
I love you all. Thank you so much for the wonderful gifts!! Thank you for the awesome Bike Bell Spencer!!! I am excited to use it!! I hope you have a great week!!
