Momma didn't raise no fool!
Hello Family and friends!
Last Monday we had District P day and we got to go to a animal Preserve and have a campfire. It was pretty cool! I'll send some pictures. The elders weren't man enough to make the fire so I had to step in. Momma didn't raise no fool!
Then I went up to Goldenrod on a Exchange with the Sister Trainer Leaders. Tuesday I had a lot of fun with Sister Schmidt in G-Rod. We did a lot of Tracting. We got to see one of their investigators, Cobra and invited her to be baptized and she said yes. Cool! I love exchanges and awesome sisters to go with.
Wednesday I hit 8 months! Time flies when you're having fun serving the Lord! We had District meeting on Wednesday and Poor sister Winslow had to go and lay down because she was so sick. Her Kidney Infection has been getting worse and worse. So we came home and she went to bed. I did some paper work and made some calls. Thursday She was still sick so I cleaned and organized some stuff in our apartment and kept myself busy.
Friday she was still bad so we called the mission Nurse and she said to go into Instacare. So we called the sister trainer leaders and they came and picked us up and took us to the Instacare. After that we went and got some lunch and then came home. While sister Winslow was in bed the Sister Trainer Leaders helped me clean out our entire kitchen. We have a bad Cockroach problem. They are German Roaches so we talked with the bug guy and he said for us to clean out our entire kitchen so he can come and spray.
Saturday we did a Zone Service Project. It was called Homeless Connect. It was for families in transition. The Family that I helped around was filled with some characters. It was a lot of fun! It was just full of a bunch of agencies and free things to help these families out. What an awesome service day!
Sunday we had church and then we did a lot of planning for the week. During Planning we changed Brother Stude's sticker of where he lives from Pink (which is for Less Actives) to green (which is for Actives!) It was so cool to see that I have had a hand in that event.
I am so grateful for this time on my mission to serve the Lord and to become better everyday. Sorry for the Short Letter, it wasn't a very full week this week with Sister Winslow being so sick. This week should be a full week though so stay tuned!!
I love you all! Keep the Faith!
Love, Sister Forsey
