Hello Everyone!
So this week has been Crazy! Crazy Fun that is! I LOVE TRIPANIONSHIPS! They are so much fun!! We just laugh and have fun all the time.
Big news of the Week...I am being transferred :( I don't know where to yet but I am excited to spend my last 6 weeks in a new area. Area # 6! Hey 6 is my lucky number!
So back to Monday. We had District Preparation Day on Monday and we went and played Indoor soccer. Man it was so much fun! I forgot how much I love Soccer. I don't think I have ever sweat that much in my entire life though. Maybe we should play soccer more often. Haha.
We taught K this week and I am gonna be honest we were really kind of frustrated with her. Since she took us by the hand a couple weeks ago and said Sisters, I am not ready for the commitment to be baptized. So we were like whelp that is our purpose..... So we weren't sure if we should continue to teach her. Also we were concerned she was doing it for us and not to come closer to Christ. So this lesson we got really bold. We told her our purpose and asked her where she was at. She told us that she has felt closer to Christ as she has been learning from us and her main concern is her family. Her family is extremely catholic. So she has a fear that her family will dissown her. Which is understandable. So we will continue to teach her and she said that she will pray about it. She is keeping all of her commitments and still coming to church. We are praying that her family's heart will be softened.
On Wednesday we had a lesson with Tony. He wanted to tell us some stuff from his past. We told him that He didn't need to because he repented of it and the Lord will remember it no more. But he still felt that he should tell us. So he did and once he did we said okay. Now that is behind you. Look forward to Brighter and Better things.
We taught C this week as well and he is progressing slowly but surely. He is having a hard time finding time to read and pray. We hope that he will sacrifice and see the blessings of it.
Saturday the Zone Leaders called and told us that I would be transferred. We were all so sad. We wanted the party to continue on. We just taught so well together and were so unified! But I guess I am needed elsewhere.
Sunday at church we told R that I am getting transferred and it was a big shock to him. He started to get all choked up and teary eyed. It was so tender.
Also we taught Nick last night too and wow I just love teaching him. He is so teachable and asks such good questions.
I really have loved serving here in College Park. I am so sad to leave but am excited for what lies ahead.
I am so excited to meet my new Nephew too!! Congrats Nichole and Chris! He is beautiful!
Have a Great Week!
Love, Sister Forsey
